Writing has been a part of who I am ever since I can recall. I was tutored by my father, who made his living as a writer and editor.
The learning has never stopped as along time’s turnpike I have filled the role of editor, reporter, lyricist, columnist, author and, now, novelist. These opportunities were part of the overflow of God’s goodness into my life.
My Amazon author page features the fiction I have published. See the trailers on specific books here on this site by clicking on the links above. If you would like to contact me, you may do so directly through my “contact” page
All my fiction is fastened to the Bible, the way walls are fastened to a foundation. Dwell on those words, and soon you will be dwelling in Him and the blessing with victory.
In my non-writing career, I’ve practiced both in the medical arena and as a small business owner. Having for years been a therapist/case manager and, eventually, a nurse, there have been miracles and breakthroughs, some worthy of the book of Acts, as is often the case in a believer’s life, all to the glory of God.
It was in 1971 that I received salvation on St. Pete’s Beach in southwest Florida. It was like buying a nice painting at a yard sale only to discover years later that it was of incalculable value. Or like adopting a new family member only to discover when he grew up that he had in fact adopted me.
Oh how much I still had to learn in order to live full and free and surrendered, but at least I gained Him and because of that, I had gained everything. Someone approached a friend and me while we were sunbathing on Spring Break. (She still remembers that day almost as vividly as I do.) I ask you, if that young man had not been obedient to the leading to share the gospel with me on that beach, would I have ever learned of Jesus?
I believe there was this small window where God rushed in with the light, and my life was very different than all the plans the world had made for me after that. Similarly, it’s not by chance that you have encountered this autobiographical silicon byte projected onto a virtual beach in cyberspace.
It never gets boring to see the Creator do the impossible. And while the stories are entertaining — as I have been told — woven into my novels are glimpses of what I have literally seen Him do.
With thanks and with an overflowing cup.
Our words are wise, because they are from God, telling of God’s wise plan to bring us into the glories of heaven.
I Cor 2:7a The Living Bible
In my discouragement I thought, “They are lying when they say I will recover.” But now what can I offer Jehovah for all he has done for me?
